Rumour: Diego Simeone pushing for Chelsea to seal Marco Reus transfer

Marco Reus could be on his way to Chelsea in the summer transfer window if Diego Simeone gets the manager’s job.

The Atletico Madrid boss is reportedly keen on landing the Germany international at his next club, having failed to sign him for his current side.

According to Don Balon, Reus is a top target for Simeone, along with Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who has already reportedly been approached by Chelsea.

Having proved himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the world in his time at Borussia Dortmund, it is little surprise to see Reus being linked with a big move, and Chelsea could certainly benefit from a player to replace the off-form Eden Hazard.

The Belgian could even be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in the summer, with the player now odds-on to make the move to Paris Saint-Germain.
